Eagle Canyon Golf Estate – Slope Stability Anchor Installation
Project Overview
In June 2025, Next Level IMS was appointed to execute slope stabilisation works at Eagle Canyon Golf Estate, involving the installation of engineered ground anchors to reinforce a highwall embankment adjacent to residential infrastructure.
The project aimed to enhance slope stability, mitigate erosion risk, and provide long-term structural support in a sensitive residential environment.
Scope of Work
The works involved:
- Site assessment and slope preparation
- Drilling for high-strength ground anchors
- Installation of slope stabilisation anchors
- Anchor tensioning and securement
- Surface preparation and erosion control measures
- Integration with gabion retaining systems
All anchor installations were executed in accordance with engineered design specifications and quality control procedures.
Technical Execution
The project required careful coordination due to:
- Proximity to residential structures
- Restricted site access
- Steep embankment conditions
- Controlled working areas within an active estate environment
Next Level IMS deployed experienced drilling teams and certified installation technicians to ensure safe, precise execution of each anchor installation.
Safety & Environmental Controls
Given the residential setting, strict safety and environmental measures were implemented, including:
- Controlled exclusion zones
- Fall protection systems
- Erosion containment measures
- Daily HIRA assessments
- Dust and noise management
The works were completed without incident, maintaining full compliance with safety and estate management requirements.
Project Outcome
The completed anchor installation strengthened the highwall embankment, improving long-term stability and reducing slope failure risk.
The successful execution of this project further demonstrates Next Level IMS’s capability in urban slope stabilisation, ground anchoring, and civil infrastructure support within sensitive and high-visibility environments.
